Allan and Monte, the Double Eagle guys, have been recommending beers from Tallgrass Brewing for a couple of months now. Today Andy, their new craft beer guy got me a bottle of Köld lager and Tallgrass IPA...hey that's all it took! Check out their website for information about their beers. Tallgrass Home Page
Köld is a German-style pilsner; it pours bright golden hue with a small white head. The taste carries hints of honey and citrus. Nice hoppy aroma, hoppier than you'd expect from a lager. Very light tasting, would definitely hold up after several!
